
Turbine installation complete at Sheringham Shoal
The final blade of the eighty-eighth and last wind turbine at the Sheringham Shoal Offshore Wind Farm was bolted into place on the 10th of July 2012.

Seajacks Leviathan has been contracted by Scira Offshore Energy Ltd, jointly owned by energy companies Statoil ASA and Statkraft AS, to install wind turbines from February through to July 2012 at the Sheringham Shoal Offshore Wind Farm.
Seajacks’ two self-propelled jack-up vessels Kraken & Leviathan will transit to Falmouth Harbour, where they will undergo mobilisation works and be modified to work in tandem on the Walney 2 Offshore Wind Farm Project.
