Seajacks Zaratan Installs Final Turbine At Meerwind Offshore Wind Park

Last night, Seajacks Zaratan lifted the last blade into place at the 288MW Meerwind offshore wind farm in the German North Sea, marking the completion of turbine installation.
Seajacks CEO, Blair Ainslie, commended the performance of the project team and crews on-board the vessels.
“This is a great achievement by all, our project management and construction teams onshore and of course our magnificent offshore crews on Leviathan and Zaratan.
It is another significant milestone in Seajacks’ development. Taking on turnkey installation for the Meerwind project was a natural stepping stone for us as we move towards our goal of providing a more comprehensive EPC offering to our clients. Not only was the installation cost effective but more importantly it was carried out without harm to any individual or the environment.
This project will go down as another successful installation project for Seajacks and will be added to our impressive resume of work which includes, Walney, Sheringham Shoal and Greater Gabbard wind parks. It has been our pleasure to work with WindMW on this very successful construction project.”
