Seajacks Hydra Safety Case
Seajacks UK has presented a safety case in accordance with the Safety Case Regulations 2005 to the UK Health and Safety Executive (HSE) Energy Devision for its new self propelled jack up vessel Seajacks Hydra.
The principles and precautions explained within the case have been formally accepted by the HSE allowing Seajacks Hydra to engage in UKCS oil and gas operations.
Authorised operations explained within the case include well services activities allowing gas to be introduced onto the main deck of the vessel via a well test package.
This is a significant achievement as it means all Seajacks vessels are able to compete for either oil and gas operations or offshore renewables.
